Massimiliano Russo PhD is an Associate Biostatistician in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He earned his Master and PhD in Statistics at the University of Padova (Italy), where he worked on Bayesian methods for tensor factorization models. During the PhD program, he was also a visiting research scholar at Duke University, NC, USA.

His research interests include: Bayesian statistics; tensor factorization for categorical variables; hierarchical models; decision theory; analysis and design of clinical trials; machine learning; and computational statistics.
