Harvard Medical School Fellowship in General Medicine and Primary Care

The Division hosts a 2-year fellowship intended for physicians trained in internal medicine, in a specialty within internal medicine, or in some other similar background who want to pursue a research career studying comparative effectiveness research or the development, approval, and evidence-based use of drugs, devices, vaccines, procedures, or diagnostics. Trainees will be given skills to generate and synthesize evidence on the effectiveness and safety of these interventions that will lead to better-informed clinical decisions. Fellows will receive close mentorship from appropriate faculty members, engage in one or more research projects intended to start their careers in health services research, take the summer Clinical Effectiveness Program and have the option to pursue a Master’s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health, and practice clinical medicine in their field.  To apply, please see the main fellowship website at http://www.hms.harvard.edu/hfdfp/
